Welp, the world is shutting down around us. Chances are we’re all gonna be spending way more time at home for the foreseeable future. I’m not sure what’s going on where you live, but in my neck of the woods all of the schools, museums, concerts, and –gulp–the public libraries are completely shut down until at least Mid-April.
After I fell to my knees and screamed, “Why God? WHY?” then panicked for a hot minute, I tried to figure out what the hell I was gonna do at home for weeks on end. Besides lounge on that pile of toilet paper I scored after valiantly fist-fighting the other customers at Costco. But I digress…
I’m one of those people. You know, the immune compromised ones who can die from all this stuff? So… it looks like I suddenly will be spending much more time inside, at home. Which, if there’s a silver lining, means I’ll have a lot more time to read all the books I’ve been meaning to read. So here’s my list, just in case you’re stuck inside, too! I’ll likely circle back to some of these books and write full-on reviews after I’ve read them. Until then, you’ll have to settle for pretty covers and links!
What I’m reading, Round 1
Zombie Sharks with Metal Teeth. Reaper Man. Welcome to Night Vale.
What I’m Reading, Round 2
Oddjobs 4. My BFF Satan. The Sinister Mr. Corpse.
And in case we get to the “holy crap, civilization is ending and nothing is ever reopening,” I might get around to Round 3.
My Life as a White Trash Zombie. You are Dead (Sign Here Please). Fred, the Vampire Accountant.
Tales from the Gas Station. Undead Cheesehead. Zoey Punches the Future in the Dick.
Check back soon, and I’ll update you on fun horror comedy movies perfect for curling up and watching while the world crumbles down around you! Stay healthy, stay safe out there!
The entire Diana Rowland zombie series is fantastic 🙂
